While promoting Avengers: Infinity War, Don Cheadle, who plays Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes/War Machine, performed a freestyle rap in honor of the MCU. The performance was originally an unaired segment for The Late Late Show with James Corden, but has since surfaced.
Ever since his first appearance in Iron Man, Rhodey (originally played by Terrence Howard, before Cheadle took over the role in Iron Man 2) has been a loyal Avenger. Starting off as more of a sidekick to Tony Stark in the first two phases, Rhodey eventually came into his own by Captain America: Civil War, playing a significant role in helping keep the team in check, while also offering some highly regarded artillery services.
